About Utilo
Utilo is a free toolbox for people who build websites: practical generators, formatters, converters and validators that solve small, everyday development problems quickly.
Why this exists
Building websites involves a steady stream of small, repetitive tasks — registering a custom post type, writing redirect rules, converting pixels to rem, formatting an API response, checking that a meta description is not truncated. Each one is simple, but looking up the syntax or writing it by hand takes time and invites typos.
Utilo collects tools for those tasks in one place, with interfaces designed to get you from input to copy-ready output in seconds.
Who it is for
- WordPress developers and freelancers building themes, plugins and client sites
- Elementor and page-builder users who need custom CSS or code snippets
- Front-end developers and web designers
- SEO professionals and digital marketers working on technical details
- Students learning web development who want to see how things work
How the tools work
Most tools run entirely in your browser with JavaScript: what you paste is processed on your device and is not uploaded to a server. Tool pages that work this way are marked “Runs in your browser”. Generated code is plain text that you review, copy and use however you like.
The site currently offers 91 tools across 6 categories: WordPress Tools, CSS Tools, HTML Tools, Developer Tools, SEO Tools and Web Utilities.
What to expect
The core tools are free and require no account. The long-term goal is simple: keep adding genuinely useful tools for real web development workflows, starting with WordPress and expanding across CSS, HTML, JavaScript and SEO.
